We Screen and Assess all clients, whether they are starting in a group or private session. By completing  a comprehensive screening, we are in an informed position to make the best programming decisions tailored to you around your goals, objectives and physical needs. At FMA each program is also designed to provide you with the guidance and tools you will need to see lasting results.

MEET ALEX

Alex is the founder of the Functional Movement Academy. 

He has over 15 years of experience in the fitness industry helping men and women in their mid 30’s to 60’s enhance the quality of their lives through his own method of Functional Training which prioritises improving mobility, core stability and full body strength.

Alex focuses on teaching his clients how to train safely and correctly for their bodies, age and limitations. His training method is all based on injury prevention.

He has worked with a wide variety of people, athletes and private clients, and enjoys helping people who want to return to fitness or have never trained and don’t know where to start. Alex aim to help as many people as he can remove their limitations and enjoy a MUCH better quality of life.
